    A 2 mm hook keeps stitches tight around the cotton yarn. Tight stitches hide the stuffing and hold the bee's shape.

  • Where exactly do the eyes go?

    Insert them between rounds 13 and 14. Count 11 single crochets from the round's start for the first eye, then 8 more for the second.

  • Can I make the antennae in a different color?

    The pattern calls for brown yarn on the antennae. Any small amount of contrasting cotton works, since only 10 rounds are needed.

  • How much yellow yarn do I need?

    The pattern doesn't state a gram amount, so buy generously. One skein of Cotton Gold in color 83 should cover the main body with room to spare.
